    GGG(12.373 Å)与YIG(12.376 Å)的晶格常数接近,是被广泛采用的YIG磁光薄膜的衬底材料,但为了提高磁光薄膜的磁光优值,有时需要选择晶格常数较大的衬底单晶,GSGG是GGG晶体中八面体的 2个Ga被离子半径较大的Sc取代,从而具有较大的晶格常数。上世纪80年代,由于Sc原料非常昂贵,因此采用CaMgZrGGG(12.480 Å)取代GSGG,近年来,提纯技术的进步,Sc原料价格大幅下降,具有大晶格常数的GSGG(12.554 Å)单晶衬底将越来越获得广泛的应用。      表1 几种含镓石榴石晶体的晶格常数
